What Are HALO and Sciton BBL Lasers?

Aesthetic lasers are medical-grade technologies used to resurface and rejuvenate the face and skin. These lasers deliver a broad range of wavelengths to yield effective results.

HALO delivers non-ablative (non-wounding) and ablative (wounding) wavelengths to remove the outermost layer of skin while stimulating collagen growth and improve the appearance of skin. This revolutionary hybrid laser was specifically created to address texture and pigmentation issues while decreasing downtime.

The Sciton BBL laser is a broadband light laser known for its anti-aging properties. BBL is the only device known to actually change the skin genes to act like younger genes. The more treatments you do, the more collagenesis occurs.

How Long Do Laser Results Last?

Halo lasts a long time, but we recommend a treatment once per year to maintain your best results. BBL treatments we recommend 4x per year.

Do Laser Treatments Require Recovery Time?

These lasers were specifically developed to shorten recovery time and reduce the risk of any side effects. After a laser treatment, expect to see some redness and tightness - like a sunburn.

Depending on the depth of your laser treatment, you may have swelling for a day or two. Then, any pigmentation will darken and sloughs off in one to two weeks.

HALO offers fast healing and most patients are comfortable going back to work in a couple of days. We recommend that you avoid direct sunlight or "unprotected sun exposure" for a couple of weeks following treatment.
